Traditional medicines are mainly used as preventive and therapeutic agents who are recommended for administration to patients and are frequently used by people in the communities. But World Health Organization (WHO) has not yet concluded that any of the traditional medicine for the treatment of Covid-19.

Medicinal plants are used for the prevention and treatment of diseases which ranges from popular and traditional medicines for the use of standardized herbal extracts is known as traditional medicine.
